Reid is a 1st year PhD student in UTIL. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelors in Civil Engineering Dec. 2018. Before graduate school, Reid was an undergraduate researcher helping code surveys about bicycle facility preferences. Additonally, he interned at the Atlanta Regional Commission and created a comprehensive regional bike facility inventory. Reid's interests include bicycle/micromobility transportation, health effects of the built environment, and safety.
Ultimately he wants to help build safer, healthier, and more affordable cities by making active transporation a feasible and desirable option for everyone.
